I want to share a couple of things with you before I get to our formal “introduction.” In 2018, after yet another school shooting, I began to develop a program that we can take into the school systems to help address the root causes of violence in our communities. There is more information about the program under the Faith Hope Love Charity post, but suffice it to say.. that was 5 years ago now (at this writing), and I was stuck.. for five years! I had the concept and the overall general idea, but I could not get past Sesame Street (which is highly trademarked, etc) and I could not develop the characters or the dialogue I wanted to use.
Fast forward to January 2023. I was on TikTok and came across a poem by @sammyemrich.. I have it here for you..

A lot of us are struggling with so many things right now, and that is exactly what this blog is designed to address.
One thing I’ve learned over the past few years is that.. we don’t know what we don’t know.
And many times, a lack-of-knowledge causes misunderstandings and misinterpretations that lead to bigger problems such as social injustice, hatred, and violence against others.
